The team behind Rep. Tony Gonzales’s campaign knew it would be a tough race for Texas’ 23rd Congressional District. With a primary challenger and a run-off election in the mix, they rightfully anticipated voter contact would require exceptional scalability and efficiency.
“We assumed the race would be tight and knew every voter contact was going to be very important… We looked everywhere, but settled on Numinar,” said campaign manager Jake Bywaters.
Ultimately, Gonzales picked up 50.7 percent of the vote while his challenger garnered 49.3 percent in the run-off, a difference of just over 400 votes in the end.
The Gonzales team made Numinar a fully integrated part of the campaign’s technology infrastructure and field strategy, conducting nearly 435,000 phone calls and and knocking 121,000 doors.
Every member of the team put Numinar to the test - from Tony himself to staff to volunteers and paid canvassers. Bywaters remarked specifically on the time saved using Numinar for intuitive voter contact operations.
“I really appreciate how easy Numinar is to use for our volunteers and the universe building component is really unique. Numinar allowed us to quickly find targeted universes, turning around projects in minutes.”
In campaigns where minutes matter and the margins are razor thin, Numinar proves to be an essential part of the hard-fought wins.
